About Patricia
Patricia Ashanti founded Delta Circles in 2013 to address the economic disparities facing Black women in the Arkansas Delta. Her belief is simple: when Black women thrive, communities thrive.
Raised in Helena-West Helena, Patricia has spent nearly 15 years building infrastructure for economic power—not just programs. From the Eliza Miller Opportunity Hub to strategic partnerships with national foundations. She leads Delta Circles’ work in entrepreneurship support, financial empowerment, and technology access with both strategic vision and deep community roots.
Patricia focuses on providing resources, eliminating systemic obstacles, and recognizing the brilliance that Black women have always brought to the Delta. The Delta’s strength has always been here. Delta Circles simply ensures Black women and their families have what they’ve always deserved: resources, space, and the tools to build the future they envision.
